The switch to charset A has been eliminated. When inserting FNC1 in charset C (only digits), the barcode library inserted a switch to charset A before.īut charset C can handle FNC1 without switching. It is now extremely fast and does not cause any delays.

The optimization code has been completely re-written to avoid such problems. The barcode library switches automatically between the charsets A, B and C to create the shortest possible symbol array.īut it was over-optimizing and could cause very long delays (30 seconds and more) to finish computations for a single Code-128 barcode.
